If we find an unhoused individual sleeping in front of or around a business, we take pictures to let the business owner know so they are aware of it. As the owner, I can refer a good security company I trust. It's also a good idea to get a lot of bright lights around a business because crime often happens more in dark areas. As mentioned above, the cleaner your business stays, the safer it is. Activity around a business is always good. If the doors and windows are closed, garbage is overflowing, and there's no lighting, it looks abandoned. That's when the graffiti and crime start to pick up.
